Sources of Income and how it is spent

The League is a charity and depends on donations from the public for funding.

People raise money in many ways including:

• raffles
• quizzes
• fetes
• coffee mornings
• concerts

In addition individual donations, legacies and in memoriam gifts are received. The League of Friends membership fees are also a source of income. The Friends also organise their own fund raising events - more details from the 'Diary' link

All the income goes towards helping Romsey Hospital help the patients. Recent examples of contributions include:

• an exercise bike for the Rehabilitation Unit
• equipment for the Maternity Unit
• mattresses for new beds
• equipment for the Eye clinic
