e are a group of people interested in all aspects of transport and engineering ranging from cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses and tractors, through to stationary engines.
With a current membership of over 100, we meet during the winter months at the Royal British Legion premises in Love Lane, Romsey, on the first Monday of the month at 8.00 pm. Our club nights are ALWAYS interesting and cover a wide range of topics. Glance at our programme of events below to see the varied interests we offer.
In the summer months we hold outdoor events in lieu of our Club night and these include day and evening vehicle runs, usually ending up at a place of interest (sometimes a pub - sometimes not!), town-centre walks in the locality and appearances at local car shows.
We hold an activity weekend in early July which includes the Summer Run on Saturday, a Show Day for member's exhibits on Sunday at Golden Acres Garden Centre at Landford and a run to a pub on Monday evening.
We attend all the local Rallies such as Popham Aero and Auto show, Picket Piece Show at Andover, Netley Marsh Steam Rally, Lymington Car Show and Dorset Steam Fair, at which we usually have a Club Stand and a display of vehicles.
You don't have to own a classic or historic vehicle or any vehicle for that matter - just share our passion for all things mechanical.

N.B. The law and driving on minor roads:
Read member
Dave Tilbury's notes on the Law regarding access for motor vehicles to minor roads and tracks. Very interesting not only to 4X4 drivers but to everyone driving on minor roads.
Use of Tractor Vaporizing Oil in old tractors, which can't run on petrol or diesel on their own. Owners of such vehicles might be breaking the law, so do please read the following Technical note.
