Welcome to the Ramblers Association - Romsey group Web site.
Coffee stop in rural Hampshire
Our group known as Romsey Ramblers has been operating for more than 20 years and we now offer a comprehensive programme of more than 120 walks each year together with a social programme ranging from quiz evenings, barn dancing and an annual barbeque.
We offer walks, normally between 7 and 10 miles in length in the area around Romsey and sometimes down into Dorset, at the weekend and on either Wednesday or Thursday each week. We often have a pub stop for lunch but sometimes there is a picnic. Details of our current programme are available from the links above.
Many members meet in Romsey and operate a car share scheme to reach the start of the walk thus enabling members not having the use of a car to enjoy walking. Non members are also welcome on our walks.

High Life with Ramblers in France
A group from Romsey Ramblers went on a walking holiday to Provence, staying in Malaucene, in southern France.
There were hard and easy level walks, the harder walks climbing to some of the higher points in area. The easier walks explored some of the many meadows and vineyards in the area in the autumn sunshine.
Opportunities were available to explore the historical town of Avignon and to have a wine tasting in Gigondas or Beaumes de Venise.
