Programme Introduction with a key to symbols and abbreviations
Please note gradings and mileage are to suit your ability.
New and prospective members are welcome - just turn up at the meeting place.
Walks are circular unless otherwise stated.
All grid references (GR) are taken from OS maps.
Members own food must NOT be consumed on Public House premises without the landlord's permission.
Whilst all walk leaders do their best to ensure safe walks those taking part do so at their own risk.
Would leaders please report any accidents, however trivial, which occur on their walks to the Secretary of the Group at the first opportunity.
Also, please report any footpath problems direct to the appropriate County Council, with a copy to Mike Arney, Footpath Secretary
5p per mile to be paid to the driver by passengers in the event of sharing cars.
Note: If large numbers on any walk, and circumstances make it desirable, the walk leaders reserve the right to split the party and request another walker present to lead the second group.
Classification of Walks:
- Suitable for the more experienced walker. Terrain moderate to hard and/or about 6 hours walking.
- Moderate pace and terrain, reasonably energetic. About 5 hours walking
- Particularly suitable for newcomers and families. Easy terrain, leisurely pace. Figure of 8 walks usually up to 2.5 hours each session. Other walks about 4 hours walking.

N.B.
means that the leader will be at the start of the walk and not at Romsey.
means that you park your car and meet at the Romsey Rapids Car Park (CP) (Go to the extreme right from the entrance, then adjacent to the Romsey Town FC Ground).
This shape means that you meet at the Romsey Industrial Estate off Fishlake Meadows behind the railway station. Park in the end bay opposite Gold Medal House by Units 27-34 sign on the wall
This shape means we meet at the Crosfield Hall.
Pub Lunch means Food available at the Pub.
Pub Stop means drinks only available at the Pub.
