In some instances either the scanning was less than perfect due to a darkened area of fold, or the content required some new typed insertions in order to fit everything in with reasonable similarity to the original copy. Almost all advertisements are included, (not always on the same pages as in the original copies) since they too represent town history of the date concerned.
