The Group meets twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Appletree Centre, Princes Road (Behind the Library in Station Road). The majority of the staff are voluntary and are supported by visiting professionals such as Doctors, Health Visitors, Social Workers, Speech Therapists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.

The children are provided with a structured and stimulating play environment with specialised equipment to suit their needs. There is a high ratio of helpers to children in order to provide each child with skilled individual help. The parents gain friendship and mutual support as well as specialist advice and can use a library of books and magazines on the care of children with special needs.
