It is a great location from which to explore the picturesque Test Valley, from the old town of Romsey to the villages beyond. Coarse fishing is also available on site, in both the lake and canal.

Timsbury Manor originally the country Manor of the Hon Ralph Dutton has had many famous visitors. During the early part of the twentieth century Winston Churchill would stay here on fishing trips and during the nineteen sixties it was the first training camp for the British Olympic Team.
