13 of our German friends from Frankfurt on Friday 3 October 2008

It was a special pleasure to welcome their Chairperson, Dagmar Schneider on her first twinning visit to Romsey. But what a pity that the weather wasn't as kind as it would have been a week later. Nevertheless hosts and guests managed to get out and about starting with a guided tour of Winchester College on the Saturday morning. The rest of the day and most of Sunday was time for guests to spend with their hosts and the usual combining for dinner and other visits took place.
Time for the afternoon flight back to Frankfurt on Monday arrived all too soon, as usual, but the expressions of 'Auf Wiedersehen' were, as usual, heartfelt too.
