Treviglio Clock Tower

Treviglio
Treviglio is an ancient town of around 27,000 inhabitants, pleasantly situated in Northern Italy between the lakes and the mountains, 50km from Milan and 20km South of Bergamo.

After successful inbound and outbound visits in 2006 and 2007 between Treviglio and Romsey there was considerable enthusiasm to progress this new link. However, with a change of mayor in Treviglio, the venture stalled and it has taken 3 years to organize another visit and, for now, this is unofficial between ‘Gli Amici di Romsey’ and ourselves.
Romsonians visited Treviglio in October 2010 and ‘Gli Amici’ return in early March 2011.

The picture is the Clock Tower, an ancient building in the town.
